Lehigh Valley students collaborate with faculty on COVID-themed journal article

Eileen Grodziak, instructional designer and adjunct lecturer at Penn State Lehigh Valley, is always looking for unique ways to engage students in her First-Year Experience courses. During the fall 2020 semester, Grodziak and students collaborated with the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence on a research article on first-year student engagement during COVID-19.

Lehigh Valley co-sponsors artist’s socially conscious 'Heroes' exhibit

Penn State Lehigh Valley has thrown its support behind a new art exhibition that celebrates iconic women of color as comic book superheroes. The campus is among the sponsors of artist Bart Cooper’s "Heroes" exhibit, which is on display through May 22 in the Crayola Gallery of Bethlehem’s Banana Factory Arts Center.

Hazleton to host Penn State Lehigh Valley professor for March 30 lecture

Penn State Hazleton will host Roger Egolf, associate professor of chemistry at Penn State Lehigh Valley, for a lecture on the 1862 Morrill Land-Grant College Act at 12:10 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, in Room 4 of the Mary M. and Bertil E. Lofstrom Library. The event is free and open to the public. It also will be livestreamed via Zoom.
